LighTech chain adjusters allow for quick and precise chain adjustments and are the product of years of collaboration with racing teams in World Superbike, MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3. Having a properly adjusted chain reduces wear in the chain, front and rear sprocket, and tire.
Changing tires, sprockets or chains are a snap with LighTech chain adjusters! Each adjuster uses micro-click technology, allowing for adjustments as small as 0.25mm (1/100”). Clear and precise markings make it clear when a chain is misaligned or needs to be replaced. It also allows for quick visual inspections, improving rider safety. Ensuring that your chain is properly aligned and has the right amount of tension maximizes the life of your chains, sprockets and tires. Optional Superbike lifters are available for most models which allow for use with rear stands.
Built from billet aerospace aluminum alloy T6061 and hard anodized in Black, Gold, Red and Indigo colors. Installation is very fast and can be performed in 15 minutes. Important Installation Note:
This LighTech chain adjuster is thicker than the stock axle block to conform to World Superbike specifications. The stock axle nut is too "thick" and will not thread "deep" enough onto the axle to use the cotter pin. You require a thinner axle nut for mounting, you can either use:
