Product Description

This is a high quality one-piece upper. Our bodywork uses stock mounting points and most parts have drilling points clearly indicated on the bodywork. All mounting points are reinforced with carbon kevlar to provide exceptional strength - an industry first by OPP!

Installation or Technical Notes

• This upper combines the OEM upper and side panels. This upper will fit to your OEM lower, the OPP race lower or the OPP OEM lower panels.
• Headlight cutouts are available for this upper for an extra fee. Prices listed are for the race version which does not include a headlight cutout. Please select a headlight choice using the options menu when making your purchase. You will be contacted regarding the extra cost of the headlight cutout. Our headlight cutouts are performed by specialists. It takes about 6 hours to cut out the headlight and carbon-kevlar reinforce the mounting points.
• Turn signals are not cut out for OPP uppers. Customers can easily install Gregg's Customs Honda RC51 Flushmount turn signals for OPP uppers without moulded turn signal mounts. Use the appropriate flushmount turn signals for models with moulded turn signals (ex. Honda CBR1000RR). Yes, they will work even if you don't have an RC51.
• 4 Dzus Fasteners are required to fasten the upper to the lower. This upper may be used for your OEM lower or the OPP lower.

Fiberglass

• Fiberglass parts are made with iso-ester resin which is more flexible and durable than polyester resin.
• Finishes are smooth, pin-hole free and ready to sand and paint.

Carbon Fiber

• Read more about the importance of epoxy resin and carbon fiber in our article entitled Carbon Fiber 101.
• Carbon Fiber, Carbon Kevlar and Titanium Silver parts are made with epoxy resin which is highly flexible, has a clear finish and does not spider-crack. Epoxy resins are superior to polyester resins in every way.
• Only Carbon Fiber, Carbon Kevlar or Titanium Silver is used in our bodywork - we don't cheat by using hidden layers of fiberglass!

OPP Recommendations

• Dzus Fasteners - All bodywork requires Dzus fasteners to connect the lowers to the uppers. Quick Release D-Ring fasteners direct from England! Recommended with purchase of lowers and uppers.
• LighTech Carbon Fiber Mirrors - LighTech carbon fiber mirrors are a sleek alternative to bulky stock mirrors. The mirrors are available in carbon fiber, aluminum fiber or colored fiber (red, blue or green).
• Gregg's Customs Flushmount Turn Signals - Compliment your new OPP upper with some trick turn signals. Gregg's Customs RC51 turn signals fit to OPP uppers that do not have the OEM turn signals mounts.
