LighTech rear sets are developed and used extensively in World superbike by winning teams such as Ducati Xerox Team, Ducati Althea team, Hannspree Honda and many more. There are the same rear sets used by your favorite racers!
LighTech rear sets allow for smooth and precise gear shifting and are the product of years of collaboration with racing teams in World Superbike, MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3. Designed for both racers and street riders, LighTech rearsets combine adjustability, durability and style in one sleek and stylish package.
Using a proprietary track system or multi-hole base plate , foot pegs can be adjusted 1” to 3” inches for increased comfort and performance. Each foot peg features a knurled texture that maximizes grip yet does not tear up boots. Smooth bearings from Sweden’s SKF (the world’s leading bear manufacturer) facilitate smooth shifting in standard and reverse shift configurations as well as braking.
LighTech rear sets are built to last and have been designed with maximum crash resistance in mind. Built from billet aerospace aluminum alloy T6061, the mounting plates have additional thickness in key areas to reduce flex. Folding foot pegs, breakaway foot pegs and specially designed toe pegs and levers allow LighTech rear sets to still be functional, even after a crash.
Each LighTech rear set features aluminum heel guards and can be replaced with optional carbon fiber heel guards to make them look the business. Rear sets come semi-assembled and include high-end mounting hardware and a detailed parts legend for quick installation. An optional pressure switch can be installed to activate the rear brake light for street use. Optional upgrade parts and replacement parts are also available. Hard anodized in Black color.
LighTech rearsets are used by your favorite MotoGP race teams and racers such as Ducati Alstare SBK (Carlos Checa), Ducati Xerox, Ducati Althea, Monster Yamaha Tech 3 MotoGP (Cal Crutchlow and Bradley Smith), MotoGP Aspar Team (Randy Depuniet) and many more in Moto2 and Moto3.
LighTech devotes a very special rear set to the latest Suzuki GSXR600 and GSXR750, combining the purity of design and quality materials.
CNC machined from high grade 7075 Aluminum, the rear set employs the exclusive LighTech "Track System", which identifies a particular method of construction used by the company with the purpose of building from a single block of the entire body of the platform, thus guaranteeing an exceptional rigidity. Plates, levers and heel guards are made by CAD-CAM machining and, with high quality ball bearings, provide excellent resistance even during the most severe stress on the track and road.
The novelty that differentiates the product, making it even more attractive is a red plate, embedded in the body of the platform, bearing the GSXR logo, a feature that transforms our technical object into something of very unique design, standing out on the bike. The rear sets can be used with standard or reverse shifting, they are fully adjustable and can be equipped with fixed or folding footrests. As an option there are also foldable toe pegs and carbon fiber heel guards for mounting directly on the plate, for greater protection of the boot.
