About the Product

Product Description

Adding a Dynojet Power Commander is a fast and inexpensive way to boost your bike's performance. Use it to improve throttle response and fuel efficiency. It doesn't change your bike's ECU unit - removing the Power Commander returns the bike to it's original condition.

Installation or Technical Notes

OPP Recommendations

  • Brisk Spark Plugs - Improve your acceleration, throttle response and fuel economy with Brisk Premium Spark Plugs. Co-designed with Lamborghini! Added 1.5hp to a stock CBR600RR!
  • Air Filters - Replace your stock air filter with a high-flow air filter or else the improved airflow from your carbon airducts will go to waste! Check out our BMC and K&N air filters.
  • Full or Slip-On Exhaust Systems - Improving airflow is only half the equation, you need to get the extra exhaust gases out! Replace your restrictive OEM exhaust with an aftermarket exhaust. Watch out Akrapovic! Arata and Hamaguchi are two awesome Japanese exhausts!

Optional Add-Ons:

AutoTune - Only works with Power Commander V, includes a Wide Band O2 sensor and control box that allows the software to automatically suggest fuel map adjustments.
Color LCD Display - Power Commander USB III units can be used in conjunction with the Dynojet Color LCD Display for data logging and multiple map switching.
Dynojet Quick Shifter Units - Power Commander USB III units can also be used to control the Dynojet Quick Shifter Units for full-throttle clutch-less shifting.
Q: Why should I use a Power Commander?
A: The Power Commander manages the engine fuel delivery of your motorcycle. Stock fuel maps are usually too "rich" (too much fuel for any given RPM). Manufacturers do this on purpose in case you modify your bike with aftermarket exhausts or high-flow air filters, which "leans" out the bike (too little fuel). Overall a fuel map that is too lean can potentially cause the engine to seize (and break!) whereas a map that is too rich may lead to excess carbon build-up (lesser of 2 evils). Installing a Power Commander V allows you to custom tune the perfect fuel map for your bike giving it just the right amount of fuel, maximizing horsepower and efficiency.
