• Your web browser “talks” to the OPP Racing website, and transmits its public key. Think of it as a set of instructions for OPP Racing on how to send data to you.
• OPP Racing website then sends the information encrypted using your public key, for your computer to decrypted using your private key. If this information is intercepted mid-way, the hacker doesn’t have your private key, and the information just turns into random mumble jumble.
• You receive this mumble jumble, and using your own private key, decrypt it into usable information.

To make sure that all the crucial steps above are being executed properly, OPP Racing employs the service of COMODO Authentication & Security (https://www.comodogroup.com) to ensure all transactions on our website is secure. COMODO is a prominent US-based internet security company, and their “COMODO Authentic Site” stamp of approval means that our website has passed their rigorous testing.
 
So the bottom line once again? We said it, and COMODO Authentication & Security’s confirmed it. You are safe when you enter sensitive information on our site.
