The Jetprime Electronic Steering Damper Eliminator (JP ESR 009) is a plug-and-play electronic bypass module designed for motorcycles equipped with an Öhlins electronic steering damper. This device allows riders to remove the factory electronic damper and install a traditional mechanical or race-spec steering damper without triggering ECU errors or dashboard warning lights.

Modern superbikes such as the Ducati Panigale V4 S use electronically controlled steering dampers connected directly to the motorcycle’s ECU. When the electronic damper is removed, the ECU detects a fault and generates warning messages. The Jetprime eliminator electronically simulates the signal of the original steering damper, allowing the ECU to function normally while enabling the installation of mechanical steering dampers.

The module connects directly to the motorcycle’s OEM wiring harness using factory-style connectors, requiring no cutting or modification of the wiring loom.
