 LIGHTECH AIR FILTERS
LighTech air filters are the result of a year's worth of experimentation with the Ducati Althea Team who has raced the 2010 season with riders Carlos Checa and Shane Byrne, both riding the Ducati 1198 SBK.
This is a filter made of 4 layers of woven cotton soaked in a special oil and capable of retaining very small impurities.
LighTech special filters ensures that one can take full advantage of the entire filter surface. How? It uses a closed mold system which determines the monolithic structure. It won't paste the filter structure to the frame as other products from other manufacturers do.
The main goal when designing LighTech filters is to use the maximum area of the filter surface. LighTech uses more fold area on their panel filters than other manufacturers which allows extra air to pass through.
