Gilles Tooling Variobars and Risers are the only clip-on system in the world to offer full adjustability on the X,Y and Z planes. With the basic variobar kit, you can swivel the clamps around the forks and set the clip-on angles to +/- 16 degrees (4 degree increments). For variobars with riser kits, you can raise your clip-ons 60/70/80/100mm and rotate them forward and backwards.

	The ergonomics of the modern production sportbike is a compromise that is designed to fit the average rider. But who is average? Everyone is built differently. To top that off, everyone has a different riding style. Gilles Tooling Variobars and Risers are the only fully adjustable clip-on system that allows maximum control over how you fit your bike.
	Who would use this? Everyone can benefit from the Gilles Tooling Variobar system. Professional racers can use this system to fine-tune their ergonomics, just like Ben Spies or Mat Mladin. Regular street riders can use the riser kits to enable a more upright, comfortable riding position. And to top it off, it looks way better than stock!

Two Components: The Variobar and the Riser

The Basic Variobar: The Variobar allows the rider to swivel the clip-on clamp around the front forks like a standard clip-on...but also allows the rider to set the clip-on angle up to 16 degrees, at 4 degree increments. You can adjust your clip-ons to fit your grip perfectly. Most non-adjustable clip-ons are fixed around 8 degrees.
The Riser: Riser kits are available in lengths of 60mm (2-1/3"), 70mm (2-3/4"), 80mm (3-3/16") and 100mm (4"). The risers allow the clip-ons to be raised higher (giving your back much needed relief!) as well as allow the clip-ons to be moved forward or backwards (for a more upright position).

Gilles Tooling Variobars and Risers are CNC-machined from aircraft-grade aluminum and anodized in Black, Gold or Silver. Riser are only available in Black. In addition to the basic variobar and riser, optional mounting hardware and 20mm/40mm bar-ends are also available. Variobars are available for OEM forks as well as aftermarket fork sizes. Installation time is approximately 3 hours. Installation is easy but OPP always recommends the use of a professional mechanic if you've never done this before. (It's worth it!). Be sure to read the descriptions for your specific bike model as each variobar fits differently. Select bike models may require longer brake/clutch cables or may not be able to work at all adjustable levels. Some bike models cannot use risers and some bike models can only work properly with the riser kits.
