The Vertebra System
The patented VERTEBRA SYSTEM is the basis of the support structure, making the boot a highly-articulated piece of technology. Each Vertebra moves independently. Vertebra System allows enhanced performance and, at the same time, also forms a shield protecting the back part of the leg.

ANKLE SUPPORT SYSTEM
Supports the ankle during torsion or impact, without reducing the boot’s flexibility or comfort. It is produced in chrome-reinforced thermoplastic resin, which is used for its resistance and protective qualities.

SOLE RIGIDIDTY SYSTEM
A special sole rigidity regulator, has been inserted between the Ankle Support System and the scuff pad. By adjusting the S.R.S. the rigidity of the sole increases when compressed and protects the area of the Metatarsus when falling or sliding. Unique to SIDI.

RACING INNERSOLE
The Racing Innersole is a new innersole made of plastic material with a removable arch support. With the advice of riders a unique balance of rigidity and flexibility has been developed. The Racing Innersole never loses its dynamic characteristics, even after months of intense use, is water-resistant, and is designed to withstand footpeg pressure.

SHIN DEFLECTOR
This is the only replaceable deflector available in racing today. Race carbon boots come with carbon fiber fully replaceable shin plate offering a higher level of strength and protection that any other race boot on the market.The replaceable and aerodynamic scuff pad has been slightly modified to adapt to the new Sole Rigidity System. It protects the toes when falling or scraping and is composed of enhanced friction-free material.

CURB DEFLECTOR This piece is replaceable and laterally adjustable. The heel is made of special materials which allow improved sliding on the track. The projecting part is lined with internal padding. The gear pad is made of Dupont techno-polymers and its mechanical features are temperature-resistant (-20° - +30° C.).

The conventional VELCRO® closure features an external Malleolus guard which also improves zip durability. Vertebra race is lined throughout with perforated top-grain Italian leather.
