Installation Guide: Case Covers & Frame Protectors

Required parts: OPP case covers or frame protectors, tubes of Heat Resistant Adhesive/Sealant (one tube per case cover) and duct tape.

Installation time: 10 minutes with overnight to dry.

  1. Clean the surface of the motorcycle with a solvent to remove any dirt and oil.
  2. Apply the Heat Resistant Adhesive/Sealant to the inside part of the case cover or frame protector. (See Figure 1)
  3. Mount the case cover or frame protector to the bike.
  4. Tape the case cover or frame protector to the bike using the duct tape.
  5. Allow the adhesive to dry overnight.
  6. The next day, remove the duct tape and you are ready to go. (See Figure 2)

Engine Cover/Clutch Cover Installation Instructions

  • How to Install Engine Cover/Clutch Cover/Frame Protectors
    1. Clean Both surfaces with solvent (engine/clutch cover on motorcycle)
    2. Use Urethane or Heat Resistant Sealant adhesive (can also be purchased in any automotive retail store)
    3. Apply very generous layer of urethane/heat resistant sealant adhesive to inside of case cover/protector (kevlar carbon or titanium)
    4. Mount on motorcycle engine/clutch cover/frame
    5. Press on firmly and secure with tape/duct tape
    6. Allow to dry overnight in warm area.
