The Öhlins SD065 Steering Damper Kit is a race-developed steering stabilization upgrade designed specifically for the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and CBR1000RR-R SP models. Built using Öhlins’ proven Road & Track steering damper technology, this kit improves front-end stability, minimizes unwanted handlebar oscillation, and delivers precise steering control under aggressive riding conditions.

Unlike universal dampers, the SD065 kit is engineered for the Fireblade chassis and installs directly in the OEM mounting location, ensuring a clean factory-style fit while delivering improved performance for both track and high-performance street riding.

Inside the damper, a pressurized hydraulic system eliminates internal free play, providing consistent damping action and precise steering feedback. Riders can fine-tune steering resistance through 16 distinct damping adjustment clicks, allowing the perfect setup for different riding styles, track conditions, or motorcycle geometry changes.
